How Does Group Rating Work?

Employers are evaluated annually to participate in the program. There is no cost to submit a Savings Estimate Authorization Form (AC-3).

By filling out this form, you allow Frank Gates/Avizent to research your claims and premium information to determine your eligibility. Once we have analyzed your information, we will provide you with an estimate of how much you could save through group rating.

How Much Will You Save?

Group rating programs administered by Frank Gates offer multiple tiers of savings levels for all industry groups, ranging from 15% up to BWC's new 65% maximum discount (equivalent effective group discount after break-even factor is currently 51%) off premiums. We can pinpoint the greatest discount you are eligible for with our range of savings.

The highest savings are only given to employers with the best safety and claims records. Thanks to our groups’ multiple levels of savings, we can offer competitive plans to employers with and without claims. Also, our lower tiers provide more security to employers who may experience claims losses, possibly keeping them from losing group-rated status.
